One Million Bones is a collaborative social arts practice that uses education and art making to raise awareness about genocides and mass atrocities taking place today, particularly those in Sudan, Burma, Somalia and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The goal of One Million Bones is to create one million handmade bones worldwide, which will be exhibited at the National Mall in Washington D.C. in June 2013.
Get involved, Make a Bone! Bones are universal. Bones are strong. Bones symbolize our common humanity. They are the physical evidence that individuals, people, ever existed. Preregistration required. Call 707-1631 or email Cynthia cynthia@ecoartalacarte.com

which changes the way we act.– Carl Wilkens
